Moved to Eureka in 1957, graduated from Eureka High School in 1966.  (Go Loggers!!!).  After living in the Bay Area for a number of years, I realized how much I missed Humboldt County, moving back in 1973 to open a business in Arcata. Retiring in 2019, I served two terms on the Humboldt Civil Grand Jury (2021-22, 2022-23), ProTem my second term. 

Clare served on the Humboldt Civil Grand Jury from 2018-19 and 2019-20.  She has been a Humboldt County resident since 2017 and is a retired administrator from UC Santa Cruz. Clare also manages the McKinleyville Community Choir and is a volunteer for the Eureka Symphony.

Born and raised in Arcata, Jim has lived most of his life in Humboldt County working in retail management during his career. He has served four times on the Humboldt Civil Grand Jury and as foreperson twice, even during the Covid hiatus. Jim continues in volunteer community service to this day.

First generation Californian, product of California schools, Guy taught at California State University, Channel Islands, before coming to teach at Humboldt State in 2008. He officially retired in 2021, but continues to serve the university and the community serving on the Human RIghts Commission and as a volunteer with the Office  of Emergency Services.

Connie served on the Humboldt County Civil Grand Jury 2022-23 and 2023-24, She was a resident of Humboldt County from 1999 to 2004 and again from 2020 until present and  is a retired Sacramento City Police Officer and Medical Transcriptionist.
